What's your next sales training topic?
There are a lot of different topics sales teams need to be trained on. Share the topic of a sales training you either ran in the past or are planning for the future. If it's one you ran in the past, how did it go? Share your stories in the comments below!
Running a sales training can be hard when not everyone's skill level is the same. The best trainings I've attended usually starts with "we all learn and absorb new information differently, let's be mindful of the interactions and role plays. All questions are welcome, with no shame". Luckily, most professional sales people are super nice, and not arrogant.
I welcome and like role plays. A bad role play would be one where you need to "build rapport" because everyone builds rapport differently, it creates a "I would have done it this way...". That's one thing I would just be careful with, spending too much time on things that at the end of the day we all do OUR OWN WAY. Like the training has said, "we dont build robots".
