What's your favorite sales education resource?
There are a lot of great resources in the world for salespeople to learn how to be better at selling. What's your favorite one? There's no extra credit for sharing HubSpot resources--tell us about one we might not have heard of!
we record our calls, and see how we could do better over all. we have grand slam calls in a unique situation. And when we find a new call that isn't our vault then we'll flag it and add it to further sharpen our sales team. It takes on boarding someone over 2 months of passive inbounds to 1-2 weeks of proactive listening and gives them a stronger idea on how we sell the customer, build long term value, and ensure customer care. The sale just happens to be a the bi-product of meeting or exceeding from those practices.
1.) Listening to others to pick up techniques that work and observe techniques that do not work.
2.) Audio books about creativity, business, personal growth, and sales (but not just sales).
3.) Learning the phycology of reading people. There isn't a single method of sales that works better than another. Each customer will respond to a slightly modified approach in tone, vocabulary, mannerisms, pauses, speed, etc. Learning how to identify how the customer communicates and being able to adapt to their style will do wonders.
HubSpot Academy is my first certification program and It has been a delightful experience to learn so much about the inbound ways of doing business. It's incredible how much I've learned already. The world is rapidly changing its way to do business and the inbound methodology is putting us on the right track to succeed. Youtube have also helped me learned different point of views and frameworks in the topic.
Best is Team Brainstorming Session. It promotes learning and a teaming experience. I gather a list of ojections from the sales reps. In the team meeting we have each reps answer how they would overcome the objection. I whiteboard all answers. At the end, we develop the best response to align with each objection including a great Customer experience.

My favorites in the past have been: HubSpot Academy (it's great to be back on here and see how much has changed!), Salesforce, LinkedIn Learning, and the Management and Strategy Institute's Six Sigma Green Belt Certification
Now to start off, I was at first perplexed by the percentages I would need to succeed in my business. I know most people now aren't given the training and coaching they need to succeed. Nonetheless, the company I worked at and have experiience with is Red Bull.
Having worked at Salesforce for over 5 years they have a solid resource for continuing education. Having said that I like the direction Frictionless Sales takes and there is great value there.
The only one Im currently learning with is Hubspot, I also like commicating with fellow employees who work in our office, I prefer hands on myself. Dive deep into it then learn as I go. I am currently learing everything by watching your videos nd taking your certs before actually diving in, its a bit different and I pray I retain before actually doing.
