Hello, I'm JP and I am trying to build a career where I could combine my passion for technologies and sales.
For me, the best to close a deal is putting on the shoes of the CX and identifiying and understanding which problems they need to solve and show them how my solution could help them.
I hope to share experiences with all of you and learn a lot.

Hi all, I'm COO of a start-up (well started up in 2018). My tactic in our industry is to be genuine - our clients are buying 'us' as much as they are buying our software.
Due to my limited time as COO for sales, I'm looking for clarity and focus regarding my valuable time regarding sales

By way of introduction I'm Eli Robinson, Founder of Andover Management. We are a HubSpot Certified Partner focused on Revenue Operations using Sales Hub and CS Hub. We support. customers in SaaS, Consulting Services and Non-Profit. A tactic that has always worked for me to close more deals is understanding the prospect's source of urgency. Ask them what happens if they don't do anything. This is a good approach to understanding their pain. As a member of this study group I would like to learn more about the modern buyer's journey.

Hi, All!
I'm Sephali Thakkar and I'm in the world of EdTech serving as an Education Partnership Specialist. In my
current role , I get to partner with educational leaders in implementing some research based best practices to build master teachers and deepen the learner experience in STEM and supporting areas of study. Since I'm new to sales, I'll share a tactic I used in working with students and teachers to "sell" ideas to them or make suggestions for improved outcomes...that is robust relationship building. The key to having successful interactions is to spend the extra time and energy to get to know your clients, identify their blockers, pain points and successes in order to tap into their current needs. This aspect of relationship building may very well be the key to building a more long-term, sustainable partnership with your clients than a one-and-done quick sale that doesn't offer the opportunity to have your customer be an advocate for your product. I'm hoping to get more tips of the trade, opportunities to learn about the robust tools Hub Spot offers for Sales but also to build a safe space for a professional learning network where I can trouble shoot things that might not be working the way I'd anticipate. It's always a good idea to learn from those that know and can show versus try to figure everything out by yourself. I'm happy to be a part of this community. Thank you for having me.

My name is Paul and I am the Head of Product Development for a startup. The primary industry I work in is affiliate marketing. I am new-ish to frontline sales, although as a professional product manager, I have always been involved with helping the sales teams at a technical level. I want to learn more sales techniques so that I can understand the sales process better.

Hi, I'm so glad to be here! I currently have been trying to create my own brand, open an online retail business, and learn everything there is to learn about small business and then some. Right now I feel a bit lost in the loop and have been out of the workforce for sometime. I do not have much sales or retail experience, however, am willing to learn. I just need more guidance as to directions and learning paths to be more productive. Currently, I've started, Red Umbrella's, a branded retail online business on Shopify, Google My Business, Google Merchant, and am learning here. I have much to learn and gain! Thanks for reading..Also, one tactic to closing more sales/deal's/programs, etc. Is to focus on human interaction and the customer. Building rapport with new or prospective contacts helps build a profile for potential business and relations. Networking on social media with groups is a great idea as well.

Thanks for inviting me to join. I'm a longtime marketing professional. I'm a marketing strategist for a growth marketing group out of Philly. They do a ton of Hubspot, training, automations, maintenance and site building. I took the marketing hub certification a couple of months ago, and now I want more. So I am joining this group as I move forward learning the Hubspot ropes related to the sales cycle. This should be fun!
