To answer the introduction questions:

📌 What's your current role?
I'm a Fresh Graduate in Pharmacy (Bachelor) transitioning into a Medical Representative career. I'm currently applying to pharmaceutical companies in Indonesia while continuously developing my sales skills.

📌 What industry do you currently work in?
Healthcare & Pharmaceutical industry. I have internship experience at a community pharmacy (Apotek Atha) where I handled patient counseling, prescription dispensing, and sales transactions.

📌 What's one tactic you recommend to closing more deals?
Data-Driven Relationship Building. During my independent educational project, I successfully acquired 30+ paying clients by:
• Understanding their specific pain points before pitching
• Following up consistently with personalized value (not just "checking in")
• Using Excel analytics to track which approaches converted best

📌 What are you hoping to get out of being a member of this study group?
• Learn practical inbound sales methodologies that I can apply to pharmaceutical sales
• Connect with experienced sales professionals who can share insights
• Understand how to build long-term customer relationships (especially important in healthcare sales)
• Eventually transition into Business Development in the healthcare industry

Hello Everyone, 

I'm fairly new to be a 'sales manager'.  With my company, we call our reps Training Specialist, so I am now for the last 8 months the Training Specialist Manager.  I was offered the job because I was the companies best sales (Training Specialist) rep for the last 9 years.

I work in the Life Safety Industry.  Specifically, I work helping individuals who install and service Fire Alarm Systems, Sprinkler and Special Hazards and Security Systems.  We offer training to help build their knowledge on the Codes and Standards, as well as for the NICET Certification for those fields.

One thing when I was actually making the customer connections that I believe was helpful is clearly listening to what they were telling me they needed for their teams, and whatever savings I could help them take advantage of from the very start.

What I would hope to get out of this study group are ideas of effective ways I can help my team build their skills to close more sales.

I'm looking forward to all suggestions and learning I can absorb.
