Improve your website to draw customers looking for your stuff.
Create a list of email addresses to which you can send offers.
Engage with people on social media platforms.

Create targeted groups on LinkedIn or Facebook.

You can identify active buyers by building emails, websites, or any social media channels that you can contact for offers. Active buyers can be reached by offering solutions to them. Active customers can show interest by reaching out to the companies social sights with questions and curiosity about the services.

Live chats, emails, and social media channels will all be used by active buyers. You may spot an active buyer by examining their behavior and desire for solutions.
Active customers may express a pronounced interest in your goods through emails, chatbots, or even individualized phone inquiry calls.
Basically, inbound sales engagement helps us understand our active buyer base

Active buyers will use live chat, email and social media platforms to communicate with you. You can identify an active buyer by reviewing their activity and the solutions they seek.

Buyer persona = an eCommerce business owner that wants to exit their business.

Active buying signals:

* Filling out a business valuation tool on company website (with what looks like legitimate information)

* Attending a targetted webinar (example: "Selling your business in 2022")

* Replying to an email sequence about selling your business with questions about maximizing their ROI/valuation or pricing (good indication that they're thinking more about the numbers behind buying in the near future)

* Qualifying phone call from an SDR

* Referrals from past clients have also typically been more ready to buy

That being said, a lot of what makes a buyer "active" in my experience is a good salesperson that's able to estbalish why it makes economic sense to make the buying decision now vs. down the road. I know that's not the question though.

Spotting the B2B binge is interesting, and the reports reveal a lot of information; it's an opportunity to proactively engage a customer.

This is a tough nut to crack.

I'm seeing a lot of comments here that mention inbound engagements (calls, chats, etc), but that's the obvious.

The question is more about how to identify active buyers who are NOT telling you directly that they are active buyers.

In my experience, the more common occurrence is identifying that they are not in the market for my product, so they're passive buyers...

I know that Insights are one of the newer features in technology options such as ZoomInfo. I'm eager to try it!

I like your thought process because the ability to identify an active buyer who is not telling you they are is the secret to distinguishing yourself as a successful sales person.

Branding is key! If your brand appears outdated or uncared for, it is hard to expect customers to walk in your door, email you, or trust your work.  When I see a very old or outdated, broken or failing signs for example, I snap a photo of it, research the customers information online to obtain a general email, send a before & after shot (showing an updated layout side x side with their existing sign), give them some  simple information on how we can help them.  I find this visual approach is easier for the customer to engage with than walking into their location and telling them they need an update 😂

One can identify active buyers by:

*A phone call into my company.

*A live chat on my website.

*Someone reaching out to me on my LinkedIn or Twitter.

*Looking at the IP address of anonymous visitors and see if I am getting multiple visitor from a particular company.

My favorite way to identify active buyers who need my products or services are; taking into consideration of active buyers that reached out to my company's website through live chats, active buyers who made phone call into my company and also reached out to my company via social media platforms such as Linkedln, Twitter, Instagram etc. Then, reach out to my company's CRM for needed and relevant information for further positive actions, of reaching out to the active buyers and possibly solve their problem as fast as possible.
