How do you connect with your contacts?
HubSpot has a lot of tools for connecting with contacts, and there are a host of other tools sales teams use outside of HubSpot. What's your favorite tool for connecting with people? Share your thoughts in the comments below!
For me it depends. For established connections I will leverage SMS as it tends to be a preffered (and most efficient) method of communication for them.
For new prospects I utilize a comboination of SMS and email to iniatiate the conversation.
When I was in commercial real estate, it was approx 90% SMS (we used Close CRM). We still did calls and a fair portion of emails, but that was mostly for documents and pics.
When I was in SaaS, it was probably 50/50 phone and email. Barely any SMS.
In my latest role, it will primarily be email (est 70%), phone (20%) and LI messaging (10%).
Sending a personalized email to connect with contacts. Connecting with contacts on professional networking platforms like LinkedIn to expand my network and stay in touch. If appropriate, i will reach out to contacts via phone to introduce myself and initiate a conversation.
I connect via email to start. Sometimes hard tyo reach people by phone without an appointment. i also like to research them on linkedin & theor company website.
