Cold calling is definatly a tough slog, i have found conversion rates to b dismal historicly.

The first thing I do, is give them a call and then send them a linked in connection.

Initially, I might connect via email - but the next step is either a phone call or a video call.

i always do a quick google search to see if information is avaiable an i call and get manager contact and upload to crm platfor. Or also connect via linked in

I have found a lot of scusess employing your methods, if I can find a common contact or shared  intrist on linked in it helps.

I usually use their preferred method of contact but that can be anything from texting, emailing, calling or social media.
