How do you connect with your contacts?
HubSpot has a lot of tools for connecting with contacts, and there are a host of other tools sales teams use outside of HubSpot. What's your favorite tool for connecting with people? Share your thoughts in the comments below!
I usually connect with prospective clients by sending emails or calling to offer special prices. Due to the pandemic gatherings were not permitted but whenever the clients wants to meet in person we usually go to discuss business at Starbucks.
For the most part it's mostly calls and emails. However, I've used LinkedIn as well as other social media sites depending on the person I'm looking to connect with and the type of social relationship I may have developped with them.
Linkedin definetely to find the most effective contact or doing the first cold-call, then prepare a short intorudction email, try to involve videos because only text is boring. Then in the next 1-2 days, follow up calls..
I focus on email and calls, with some LinkedIn followups. Guys, what do you think about adding LinkedIn to the sequence?
Some top reps say it should only be used for boosting the prospects' awareness of us and others say LinkedIn has worked well for them to book meetings.
I do it. I think it is a great way to connect! It seems to work. I suppose it depends on your activity on Linkedin, yet why not add another form of contact to the list? With our prospects being ever so busy, it may catch someone that wouldnt otherwise express interest in you.
