Typically LinkedIn for new connections if I don't have their email address, otherwise email. Once established connections, always email or phone.

No question that 95% of my exchanges with contacts is through email. BUT being able to empower my contacts to set up a "Mutually Convenient Time to Speak" regardless of their timezone, has been a blessing I can't begin to describe!

I use Aircall to connect with my contacts, I like this because it integrates seamlessly with the CRM and allows me to take notes directly from the app.

Slack is a good communication tool, but nothing beats talking directly to your colleagues, email is probably the least efficient in my opinion.
