How do you connect with your contacts?
HubSpot has a lot of tools for connecting with contacts, and there are a host of other tools sales teams use outside of HubSpot. What's your favorite tool for connecting with people? Share your thoughts in the comments below!
Depending on your contact's industry and role, here are some tools (more closer to methods) I've found successful:
Standard email and call outreach (take your time to craft an excellent voicemail script)
LinkedIn connection/social DMs (don't go for the sales kill–the prospect probably isn't there yet)
Blog comments/community forums (good if your contact authors articles/blogs)
Direct mail (what you send should match your contact's lifecycle stage––for instance, sending a gift card to MQLs that gets activated if they complete a demo)
Tradeshows (start by researching if your contact's company will be there)
This is my first time using HubSpot (I used Salesforce for many years!). I love that with HubSpot I can save all correspondence and even add notes to each communication. Since I'm D2C I prefer using text messages to reach out to contacts.
