Hi, Texting, SMS and Whatsup. However for customers, I prefer emails and call sofware what record every conversation in that way, I can listen again our last conversation.
Phone calls are great. I have also had considerable success texting to engage and execute via a follow up call. I feel entegrating both gets better results.
We mostly stay in touch through calls—checking in on each other, discussing commodity availability, and occasionally having brief, business-friendly conversations.
I have used various CRM's, amongs all I found the features like email integration & call integration to the CRM is the best & useful feature to have on while working on any lead. I helps me to track call & emails sent to the client & their conversations.
In all honesty, I am completely fresh to sales. I am looking to retrain and create a well paid, remote career for myself currently. The first step is getting educated.
My previous experiences have all been mostly face to face with customers/clients.
I will say that if I wanted to make a sale though, emailing first would be my low stress first choice. Just because it gives the buyer time to think about what you are selling. It also gives them a chance to send subtle queues through their interaction with the message, as to whether or not they are a warm lead. I think calls are king, so long as you have first broken the ice a little and attracted some interest beforehand.
To contact a Lead, I usually call them directly. It is a cold call to pre-selected leads in an industry that would match our service. If I can't get through I will look them up on LinkedIn and work on engagement there first. I dislike cold calling and will look more into understanding the inbound leads method. Thank you.
Personally, I have always been a call first type of person. If I don't get them over the phone, I will follow up with an email with a eye catching subject line (normally something humorous)
