How do you connect with leads?
Connecting with leads can be hard. Even when people are interested in your product, they're often busy or have competing priorities. How do you get to that first conversation with a lead? Share your tips and tricks in the comments below!
Before connecting with the leads; its best to do your homework like what interests customer, what are his requirements and what solution he is looking for. While having the knowledge of his reuqirements; it would be best to connect with your customer and trun them into a successful service client.
Having personalised, relevant conversations with leads is the best way to go. Always look to provide value (without being too 'salesy' early in the relationship. Provide value without immediately asking for anything in return. That could mean pointing your contact at some useful content. Build trust and rapport before asking for anything.
I can connect with leads by having personalized and not generic conversations and trying to identify if their concerns can be solved by what my company has to offer.
You can by identifying of there is a common connection. This is likely going to be someone they might be interested to talk about and from here you can link what you can offer to their potential needs. Always considering to be human, helpful and holistic.
Second identify who they are, when they are likely to be available for a call and hear from them. It is important to learn about them before since it iwll be easy to connect and potentially to help them in the near future if they realize you are interested in them.
I will try and find their phone number. Once I have done that, I will call. Whether I reach them directly or get their voicemail, I will keep it brief; who I am, something of their's that triggered my interest, why I am calling, and that we may be able to add value. I will then follow up with an email the next day.
