How do you connect with leads?
Connecting with leads can be hard. Even when people are interested in your product, they're often busy or have competing priorities. How do you get to that first conversation with a lead? Share your tips and tricks in the comments below!
Working remotely, I follow and contact my connections on social platforms. Like and comment their posts, look for common ground and then send them a short message introducing myself and referring to the topic we have in common. During the conversation I try to bring up what I notice they are experiencing at the time that I can help them with and go from there.
I'm getting know by sending e-mails or phone calls, asking by its current situation and offer one of my services and by finding a solution to its problem.
I usually research about the lead, to understand what they need (people in Latin America usually speak less about what they need). Then, I would try to find out the best way to contact them (through their secretary, e-mail, etc.). After trying to contact them, I will ask for a few minutes (like an elevator pitch), because I understand people do not have time for what they do not consider interesting enough (and my role is to show them why I can help them).
If I could not get in touch, it means I got the wrong target or maybe my sales process must be re-adjusted.
Reach out to our Inbound leads ASAP within 4min. Through Emails or Phone call. And Grab their attention within first 30 seconds of the interaction on trying to figure out their current situation and issues and how we can help them provide values. OUR MAIN FOCUS NEEDs TO BE UNDERSTANDING THEIR CURRENT PAIN POINTS AND THE WAYS WE CAN HELP THEM OVERCOME THE PROBLEMS. not to sell our products but to help them solve their problems with our products 🙂
A great way is to find if they have any questions on social media and reply to them, tagging them, then sending a personal email and ask to contact further.
hoy en dia las redes sociales son muy importantes para el
marketing, el marketing digital día a día crece es por eso que es importante implementarlas en tus estrategias, con una estrategia adecuada y en la red social adecuada llegarás fácilmente a tu cliente.
Usually is through an "influencer" in the buying journey who does have the time to listen to our story and then this person usually pushes a meeting with the decision makers
After identying myself I first acknowledge that "we haven't spoken and you were not expecting my call". Then I ask "is this a bad time?" I then mention something along the lines of "I work with individuals like you who are involved in philanthropy. I saw that you were on our website and was interested to learn if there was an interest in philanthropy and creating a private familyfoundation". If they say yes, then I say "tell me more". This puts the prospect in control and lowers resistance.
I also moderate my tone and tempo so I don't sound like I'm rehersed or reading a script. My strategy is not to start the conversation with a pitch.
(1) reach out potential buyer through blog posts or social media and try to solve their problem
(2) Call those prospects who attend our webinars and filled a form. If they are unable to receive the call I will send them a short email and ask their problem so that I can guide them to solve those issues.
