Look for common connections that can help accelerate trust between myself and the buyer. Otherwise I demonstrate value by providing an insight that I know they need (they've expressed it at a recent conference or social media post).

I connect with leads by creating a relationship with them, I try to get to know them relates in aspects wheter is personal or business wise connect with them and help them realize im also a person like them and im not above them but an equal. I feel like buidling trust works because customer are more likely to feel heards, and have their feelings and concerns understood and are more likely to purchase or use you as a referance.
