Humans of HubSpot: Olivia Bagnall

This week we want to spotlight Olivia, you may know her as @Olivia_Bagnall in the Community. 

Olivia shared how she started using HubSpot and what she does for work. Discover what she does in her free time and with whom she would like to have dinner.

Tell us about yourself

I'm a dubliner born and raised but have been fortunate enough to live in many places! I spent two years in Singapore before moving to Brasilia in Brazil where I am currently based 🙂 I miss Dublin everyday but nothing beats the cold cold beer and BBQ of Brazil for me at the moment.

How did you start using HubSpot? Was it in your current role, or a different role?

I actually worked for HubSpot for just over 3 years, first as technical support in the Dublin office and then as an onboarding specialist in the Singapore office. I just very recently left HubSpot and moved into the world of freelance! It was a tough decision to leave HubSpot but I needed to make the career change in order to be with my partner in Brazil after a loooooooooong time apart.

Tell us a little bit about your company and your position.

As a freelancer, I work with many companies on a wide variety of HubSpot projects. Right now, I am partnering with Baskey - an agency started by two ex-support colleagues of mine 🙂 I am working with them as a HubSpot specialist and project manager on a variety of projects and it's exciting!

What do you do for fun outside of work?

I recently moved to Brazil and have been doing a lot of travelling and exploring. I am lucky that as a freelancer I can work my own hours. Apart from exploring, I love to run, dance and do yoga.

If you could have dinner with anyone in the world. (past or present), who would it be and why?

 My Grandma. If I could bring someone back from the past, it wouldn't be a stranger.

What's your favorite tool in HubSpot? Mine are Meetings - the Meetings widget saves so much time!

@MiaSrebrnjak I think mine would have to be workflows! It's a love/hate relationship at times but overall they make life soooooooooooo easy. Meetings are also a godsend. I agree with you there!
