This week we want to spotlight Mariana Godsen, you may know her as @MarianaG in the Community.
Mariana shared some insight about what she does for work and how she started with HubSpot. Discover which recent certification she got and with whom she'd love to have dinner!
Tell us about yourself
I am a good mix of creative and technical. I've started my career as a journalist, then pursued formal wine education and worked as a sommelier, and now I am a HubSpotter! I feel like everyday I am a better problem solver in many areas of life from spending so much time digging into HubSpot to find creative solutions for our clients.
I am always learning a new language, and while I am not fluent, I sing songs to practice the sounds even if I don't understand what the lyrics say.
I am a certified yoga teacher who does not teach, but lately have been having a hard time getting on my mat at all!
I am always reading around 7 or 8 books at the same time with no completion in sight.
How did you start using HubSpot? Was it in your current role, or a different role?
I started using HubSpot when I started working at Remotish, but at the time I was an intern.
Tell us a little bit about your company and your position.
I am a HubSpot Implementation Specialist at Remotish, a RevOps agency. I spend most of my time building things in HubSpot, and digging into all hubs to help solve our client's problems.
What do you do for fun outside of work?
I like to spend time with my dog and cat, reading, and learning new languages.
If you could have dinner with anyone in the world. (past or present), who would it be and why?
I would have dinner with my parents and sister who live in Brazil and I don't get to see them very often.
Thank you for sharing a little bit about yourself with us, Mariana! I love yoga as well and I think you should get your mat back and find the time to connect with yourself again! 🙂
