This week we want to spotlight Ben Donahower, you may know him as @bendonahower in the Community.
Ben shared how he started his agency and when he started using HubSpot. Discover what movies Ben likes and with whom he'd love to have dinner.
Tell us about yourself
I'm a human so I meet the criteria for this project! I'm a platinum HubSpot agency owner (but no need to make this a sales pitch) and I bleed orange sprockets. Husband, father of three, active in church and to a degree the community. I have some normal hobbies like fishing but quirky ones too like a foil ball (PeeWee fan) and such.
How did you start using HubSpot? Was it in your current role, or a different role?
I started subcontracting for the now diamond partner Optimize 3.0. He said I should become an agency too. I thought, how is this goofball that wants me to become his competition? Turns out that there is a constructive, collegial relationship between partners.
That was nearly a decade ago which makes me an old man in HubSpot years.
Tell us a little bit about your company and your position.
I own No Bounds Digital, which is a platinum HubSpot agency partner. We focus on sales and marketing HubSpot operations.
What do you do for fun outside of work?
Watching Flyers ice hockey, fishing, going to the amusement park with my fam, 80s movies, 70s and 90s Christian rock, and weekly 'dates' with my kids.
