Fundraise Up & Issuing Receipts for Offline Donations
Hey, @EJohnson0 - I think this can be done through a deal automation that checks if the payment method is a cheque or EFT or whatever you set to be something Fundraise Up would not track, then send an email with dynamic deal info in the body of the email.
Fundraise Up & Issuing Receipts for Offline Donations
Hi @EJohnson0, If Fundraise Up does not allow receipts to be issued to offline donations, such as cheques and EFTs, alternative solutions to ensure that donors receive an appropriate acknowledgment of their contribution include:
1. Sending an email confirmation to the donor upon receipt of the donation. This email should include the donor’s name, the date of the donation, the amount donated, and a thank-you message.
2. Sending a thank-you letter to the donor once the donation has been processed. This letter should include the donor’s name, the date of the donation, the amount donated, and a thank-you message.
3. Creating a donation page on your website or using a third-party donation platform that allows for digital receipts to be sent to donors upon completion of their contribution.
These solutions provide donors with the acknowledgment they deserve while also allowing the organization to track donations and ensure that the donor receives the appropriate tax deductions. and these all can be done by FormPay, having a full feature glance from interlinking.
Fundraise Up & Issuing Receipts for Offline Donations
Hi @EJohnson0, fantastic to hear your organization is planning to move forward with Fundraise Up 🎉
You are correct, Fundraise Up does not receipt offline donations. There are many ways to give to causes today but Fundraise Up is laser focused on the digital checkout.
For example, a check from a major donor, grant from a foundation, and/or gala ticket purchase are traditionally non-digital channels that are typically captured by your database of record as the single source of truth.
