To assist in tracking our programs and ensure that each client gets the resources they need, we need to be able to have some of the properties from our registration forms show up in their tickets. This lets the volunteers know exactly what support they need.
However, we have not been able to figure out how to have our form submissions create tickets with these necessary properties included. Any assistance would be appreciated!
If you want an existing form to create tickets, flick this switch in the left sidebar of the form:
Then, in the Options tab of the forms editor, scroll down to "Automatically create tickets" and "Manage settings" for further settings:
If the fields on your form are contact properties but you also want to see them on the ticket record, this are a bit more complicated and this would require a Professional subscription. In that case, you would create a field with the same name and settings on the ticket object, then use a workflow to copy the information from the contact field to the ticket record. Let me know if that's the case and whether you need detailed steps here.
Without any additional configuration like workflows, contact fields are not pushed into a newly created ticket.
Best regards!
