Quickbooks Integration - taxable products

Hi All, 

I'm trying to get the Hubspot/Quickbooks integration set up for our sales team. In testing, I've noticed that invoices in Hubspot are not marked as taxable in Quickbooks.

If invoices generated in Hubspot are being imported without that box checkmarked, then the sales reps will have to manually check each product on the invoice to collect the correct amount of taxes.  This seems like a huge inefficiency and all customer service reps tell me that hubspot can't tax items, but that is not the issue. 

Are other businesses experiencing this? Any help would be appreciated!!

It seems you're facing a common issue with the HubSpot and QuickBooks integration regarding taxable products. HubSpot invoices may not automatically mark items as taxable when imported into QuickBooks, which can be inefficient for your sales team.

To mitigate this, ensure that your products in HubSpot have the taxable option selected before generating invoices. Check if there are any integration settings in QuickBooks that enforce taxable statuses during the transfer.

Could you elaborate on where I would see whether my products have the taxable option selected? I didn't see anything similar under the product section in Hubspot.

Hey @BBlohowiak, To check if your products have the taxable option selected, navigate to the Products section in HubSpot. While HubSpot doesn’t natively include a "taxable" option for products, this field might be syncing from QuickBooks if the integration is set up. 

You’ll need to review the synced product properties or check directly in QuickBooks for taxable settings.
