As a social media marketer, it’s crucial you determine which platforms you’re going to share your content on. There’s not necessarily a right or wrong answer when it comes to which social channels your business should use — it’s more about the needs of your target audience and where they tend to spend their time. With that in mind, which social channels are you currently using and why?

I primarily am using Instagram, Tiktok, and facebook as my main platforms. I feel you can see consistent rates of organic engagement on these platforms the most.

I currently focus on platforms that best align with my target audience’s habits and content preferences. Right now, I primarily use Instagram and TikTok because they’re highly visual, engagement-driven platforms where users actively discover new brands and content. Instagram is great for building brand identity through posts, stories, and reels, while TikTok allows for more authentic, short-form video content that can reach a wider audience organically.

My business mainly uses X (formerly Twitter) for brand awareness, and WhatsApp Business for conversions and follow-ups.

We’re mainly using LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook right now, because that’s where our audience is most active and where we can match content to intent:

LinkedIn: strongest channel for reaching decision-makers and sharing thought leadership, case studies, and company updates that support B2B awareness and lead gen.

Instagram: great for brand storytelling and showcasing our work, culture, and creativity in a more visual, bite-sized way.

Facebook: still useful for community reach, event promotion, and retargeting/awareness; especially for certain client audiences and local markets.

We prioritize channels based on where we’re seeing the best engagement and where the platform format fits the content (video, graphics, long-form posts, etc.).

My experience is in the B2B Software as a Service space. As a result the preferred social channels to reach the audiences I have marketed and sold to has been LinkedIn.

For my brands Vision Web Marketing  (digital marketing services) and Dandelion PhotoArt  (photography services), I use mainly Instagram, but also have Facebook and YouTube.

Our team is currently using Instagram, Facebook, LInkedIn and on a case by case basis, X.

This is part of our overarching stategry so utilizing every social media channel, but tailoring content for each platform to better resonate with our audience has produced better brand awareness.

Hi @DBarranon18 tailoring your content per social channel is such a great approach ! If you’re looking to scale your social tools and social media management strategies can help as well:

I would also love to hear how you decide which content to post in each platform📱- Josefina, Community Moderator

You may not even believe this but I worked for a motorcycle "leasing" company that did not believe in brand awareness and the use of social media. Buying personas were clearly using Linkedin but C-suites did not want to use it. Total shame!

We haven't yet really dove into Tiktok yet. Most of our marketing efforts are within Meta. I think this could be a problem for markeitng to Gen Z and Gen Alpha.

The past two companies I've worked for focused on almost solely LinkedIn. Since they were B2B HR tech companies, focused on Talent Acquisition and Recruiting decision-makers, it is definitely where the target audience is -- and definitely proved itself in ROI to that effect.

Hey Joe! Hope you are doing just fine!

My main social channels that I use for a daily basis would be those broadcasted by meta.

Besides among other from differents platforms like Instagram or LinkedIn.

These pieces of art are the main channels I had presence
