What social channels are you currently using?
As a social media marketer, it’s crucial you determine which platforms you’re going to share your content on. There’s not necessarily a right or wrong answer when it comes to which social channels your business should use — it’s more about the needs of your target audience and where they tend to spend their time. With that in mind, which social channels are you currently using and why?
We use Facebook, Twitter/X, YouTube, and LinkedIn. However, our best channel by far is LinkedIn. We are B2B, and that's where our customers are most active.
My top social medias to use are Instagram and TikTok, since it is easier to get a great number of organic views and followers just by posting. However, LinkedIn and Facebook are also great, if you are making your content individually for each of those platforms.
it's important to select the right platforms based on your audience's preferences. I currently use platforms like Instagram for visually appealing content, especially for younger audiences; Facebook for building a community and sharing a mix of content; LinkedIn for professional networking and B2B engagement; Twitter for real-time updates and customer interaction; and TikTok for creative, engaging videos aimed at Gen Z and millennials. The choice of platforms depends on where the audience is most active and what type of content is best suited for that platform.
The social channels you use depend on where your target audience spends their time. For visual content, Instagram and Pinterest are great, while Facebook works for reaching a broad audience and building communities. LinkedIn is ideal for B2B marketing, and Twitter is best for quick updates and engagement. TikTok is perfect for younger audiences with creative, short-form videos, and YouTube is key for longer, tutorial-style content. Choose the platforms that align with your audience and business goals to get the most engagement.
I am just an intern here, who is also a student but I am one who uses various social media accounts including Youtube, Instagram, Linkdin, Indeed, X/Twitter and Tik Tok. These platforms are big enough to have a wide number of audiences that can view a compnay's product or service.
Hi Jorie! Currently, I use NextDoor, Meetup, EventBrite, LinkedIn, Instagram, Pinterest and YouTube. This is where my audience spend time. Personally and professionally, when I'm not running a marketing campaign for someone else, I have removed all except LinkedIn for myself. I want to grow my personal brand and don't want to get distracted by browsing through entertainment apps. This focus has done well for me as it's made me consistently active on 1 platform catching the engagement of hiring managers, and upper management from different companies.
