As a social media marketer, it’s crucial you determine which platforms you’re going to share your content on. There’s not necessarily a right or wrong answer when it comes to which social channels your business should use — it’s more about the needs of your target audience and where they tend to spend their time. It depends on the client. Some clients have a larger and more engaged/active customer base on LinkedIn, others on Facebook. It depends on their audience and market vertical.

I use facebook and instagram for maintaining my military contacts and for friends and family. Also, use linkedIn to keep up with my industry.

We use Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram. While our FB and LI posts often feature our blog posts, industry news, and tips, our IG account includes new employee introductions and personal snapshots of employees doing things they love, like traveling.
