Hi everyone, I'm Vanessa currently the VP of Marketing and Sales Operations at Engagement Labs (www.engagementlabs.com). I've been here for 3 years now, I think. 😃
Superpowers? I'm adept to learning software and platforms. I learned HubSpot when I joined EL and became a champion user. I'm currently learning about whatever is new in the modules in the HubSpot academy. Outside of marketing, it's a continual learning about investing, crytocurrency and... plants. =D

I'm 2 years into this position after having worked as an inhouse marketing department as Senior Graphic Designer for many years. Hi everyone, I'm Sharon. Nice to e-meet you! For the last year, I've been doing marketing for a small B2B tech startup. We recently got acquired by a larger B2B SaaS company with multiple product offerings. I'm in the process of onboarding into my new role with larger responsibilities, and trying to learn as much as possible about the people, tools, and systems in place at my new company so I can start providing value to the organization shortly. Their main CRM tool is HubSpot, which brought me here.
I've been a fan of HubSpot as a brand for a while (from a distance, just downloading the occasional white paper or guide), but this is my first time gaining enterprise-level access to the platform, and I'm currently taking advantage of World Certification Week to learn as much as I can, and start putting what I learn into practice. Before working in SaaS, I worked in the hospitality industry for many years, so my marketing superpower would have to be my ability to empathize with customers and visualize the flow of their brand experience or journey, whether digital or physical.
As for what I'm learning or reading - I recently completed my Inbound and Inbound Marketing certs this week! Besides my current queue of HubSpot courses, two books I recently enjoyed were "Positively Unstoppable", by Diamond Dallas Page, and "Never Split the Difference: Negotiating As If Your Life Depended On It" by Chris Voss.

Hi! I'm excited to be onboarding with HubSpot.
I've been part of a consulting firm called Value Capture for about 3.5 years. I've worked primarily as a client advisor with our clients in healthcare organizations, but I'm now working in a role as Director of Strategic Marketing.
I've been blogging for 16 years and podcasting for 15 years, so that's as close to a marketing superpower as anything. I have a long history of content marketing, through my personal blog and other outlets, but I'm looking forward to applying the more formal HubSpot methodologies to the benefit of Value Capture.
I'm really focused right now on learning inbound marketing. I read the original edition of the Hubspot inbound marketing book and I've recently purchased the 2nd edition.
