How often should you audit and update your buyer personas?
Buyer personas can be created through research, surveys, and interviews — all with a mix of customers, prospects, and those outside your contacts database who might align with your target audience.
But like all data, even information you gather on your audience (your personas) can go out of date. After all, business models change, companies merge or shift direction, and your audience can (and likely will) evolve. In your professional opinion, how often should you audit and even update your buyer personas?

so far our process has been to review buyer personas once every two weeks. we conduct a detailed review after every campaign we run be it by email, LinkedIn, or Google. Open to seeing how everyone else does this.

I recommend a cadence of quarterly at a minimum however if there are significant changes within a specific industry/segment, you should revisit immediately to keep in-step with the target audience challenges.

Based on past exeprience, work loads, the importance of current byer personas, I suggest every six months but do not wait longer than one year to update them.

I like this answer. I think we also need to think about how the people our personas represent live's change. Probably should update persona's when things like gas prices spike, pandemics break out, and holiday seasons arrive.
