August 17, 2023 Update to the HubSpot Solutions Partner Program Agreement
Effective August 17, 2023, HubSpot has updated the April 2023 version of the HubSpot Solutions Partner Program Agreement (“HSPPA”). Here’s what has changed.
We’ve updated our HubSpot Solutions Partner Program Agreement (HSPPA) to include new Jurisdiction Specific Terms for impacted regions as we transition into shared selling tools and deal registration in preparation for an eventual global retirement of the outdated domain registration tool.
As many as 40% of domain registrations have been rejected due to the limitations of the domain registration tool, increasing friction and frustration to the sales process. Deal registration, on the other hand, reduces friction in the co-selling process, increases transparency for partners and providers, and streamlines communication. The transition to deal registration creates further alignment between solutions partners, providers, the HubSpot sales team, and customers.
As of August 17, 2023, domain registration is retired in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland (collectively the DACH region). Beginning October 1, 2023, we will expand the retirement of the domain registration tool to countries located in the EMEA region (excluding the UK, France, and Ireland) and countries located in the ANZ region. This launch represents the next step in our goal to retire domain registration in favor of deal registration globally in early 2024.
You can review the new Jurisdiction Specific Terms here. Please remember that as of August 17, 2023, these terms only apply to countries in the DACH region.
