Totally agree. It would help if there was a column in the task table that had deal owner, so you could filter by deal owner and then reassign the tasks to them.
100% agree and I think it is necessary to have flexibilty with this function.
When reassigning hundreds of companies at a time, it is extremely inefficient that you are not able to simultaneously reassign the tasks as well, which are associated with the company. Due to some companies having multiple tasks assigned based on action needed, it would be helpful to be prompted with options here. For example, there may be differing owners for a sales function task for follow up on an open deal (assigned to the company owner) but another task may be transactional (invoice needed), which may be assigned to customer service. Similar to the above, it would help if there was a column in the task table that had a view to current task owner, so you could "select all" or selectively exclude how the tasks are reassigned.
This should be base functionality. There are many situations where a user gets removed and they might still be the owner on contacts, companies and deals and with automation set to create tasks for them and no way to manage this, it seems crazy not to have this as a solution.
