"Last time contacted" and "last activity date" for Custom Objects
Created from the Japanese Community
Currently, there are no "last time contacted" or "last activity date" properties for custom objects. I want this property to exist so we can treat it just like contacts and companies.
Agreed. Several clients prefer to log activity to the custom object instead of the contact record! And Object last modified doesn't pick up on emails/notes/etc deployed from the custom object record.
We need this. We use a custom object to get a "Leads" object as Salesforce has. This was approved through the direction of our HubSpot rep. We are finding limitations on the custom object that inconvenience us at many turns and are hoping that our top custom object capability requests will be pushed forward ASAP. This is our #1 request. We need Last Activity date on the custom object soon or it will become a nightmare for our reps as we scale the custom object. The reps are frustrated they cannot organize their pipelines and our managers are frustrated they lack activity visibility.
It is 2023 now and this feature is still lacking but greatly needed. We have different types of jobs set up as custom objects and need to know which jobs have no activity recorded on them. It is absolutely necessary for this to be available on custom objects.
Would be very helpfull if this would be available.
Does anyone know a workaround? Maybe rollup activity from associated objects to the custom object? I tried a calculated field but was not able to get a last activity date based on associated contacts.
Is there any update on this? I really need to track last activity on a custom object. Seems like an easy feature since we can easily associate emails, tasks, phone calls and other records to custom objects.
Absolutely need last activity date for custom objects. Especially since we are able to associate activities such as tasks and emails to the custom object
This is a must have!! For customers who rely on custom objects, this is such a huge miss by HubSpot. A "last activity date" on custom objects is a true must have -- especially for enterprise customers that rely on custom objects to run their businesses.
If you can associate notes/tasks to a custom object, having "last activity date" should have been a default property. This is a massive limitation. Since this doesn't exist, there should at least be an easy workaround. Even if we create a custom "Last Activity Date" property, there's no workflow trigger for note created on a custom object.... so we're just stuck.
As a Team Lead, I want to see directly from the list/board view when the Service/Custom Object was last updated by responsible CSM, so that I can monitor the situation and escalate if needed. Should have been a default property.
