"Amount" Potential vs Actuals

averyb

Hubspot defines "Amount" as the total value of the deal in the deal's currency, if your HubSpot account uses more than one currency.

This set up is limiting becuase it does not allow you to differenciate between actual vs potentail revenue.  For a company with a long sales cycle, often a customer may purchase multiple times for a single deal.

If you have 1 deal that has sold $5k (actual) but also expects another $15k (potential), based on the current set up with only one "Amount" field it would show $20k - I would like to be able to see only the $15k.

Is there an existing feature that would let me do this? Or is this something that would need to be created in the future?
