This Idea would specifically be for the Customer Portal in relation to the Ticket Permission Settings.
The Idea:
Provide an additional option on the Ticket Permissions to allow the Customer Portal to also display tickets created by any Deals that they are associated to.
E.g. Instead of this:
The new options would be something like:
- Allow your customers to view only tickets that their contact is associated with
- Allow your customers to view any tickets that their company is associated with
- Allow your Customers to view any tickets that are associated to any Deals they are connected to
The Justification for the Idea:
Our B2B business model operates within two key categories - End Users of our Product and Partners (as I am sure it is the same for other HubSpot Customers).
The Partner Model requires us to work on a 1:1 Deal = Project basis where multiple contacts from different companies via association labels will work to and assist on a particular project.
Not every contact within a Company will want to see tickets relating to a seperate project with another company but will want to see any tickets created / relating to a specific Project and or Deal.
