it would be super helpful to have a check box to HIDE a producty from the product library so users cannot sell that product. I realize we cannot DELETE or RENAME the item as it affects reports and back end things, but having a way to "hide" it would be super helpful
Hello HS - not sure how this is not a thing. Please do make this change soon. My sales teams are pulling their hair out searching through hundreds of product they do not currently use.

This is a very needed feature! Please add!! Right now we have to delete the product to ensure it doesn't get added to a deal when its not available but if/when we bring back the product it will have a different HS ID# from Quickbooks and it causes so much confusion
Currently, in our HubSpot setup, we have the property "Currently Active - Yes/No" for products in our library. However, we have noticed that this property does not effectively limit the availability of products to our sales representatives. This is particularly challenging when dealing with discontinued products. While these products cannot be deleted from our library for record-keeping purposes, it is crucial to prevent their selection during new sales processes.
The lack of this functionality leads to situations where sales reps might inadvertently select products that are no longer available or suitable for sale. This not only creates confusion but can also impact the accuracy of sales data and customer satisfaction.
Therefore, I propose a feature enhancement whereby administrators can set restrictions on the products available for selection by sales reps. This could be an extension of the existing "Currently Active" property or a new feature that allows more granular control over which products appear as options for reps.
Implementing this feature would significantly streamline our sales process, ensuring that only relevant and currently available products are presented to customers. It would also reduce errors in product selection and enhance the overall efficiency of our sales team.
It would be great if we could manage this issue by only allowing people visibility to products if their team has been linked with a "view" or a report on the products object.
There are times when a product is end of line but we still need the product for reporting and so cannot delete it.
There are times when a product or component may be out of stock for a period of time (thank you Huthi rebels pirates!) and so we need to *temporarily* make this unavailable to sales.
This doesn't affect us but I am sure there are many companies who's business is seasonally driven and has ranges of products only available at certain times.
