I regularly use sections in my page builds, as they're a great-time saver when creating simple layouts. I also regularly add custom classes to these sections in the backend, when I need to add some additional css styling that can't be set in the section settings.   However, because these custom section classes can't be controlled within the editor, I find myself having to create multiple section clones for every single tiny variation I make of them.   If developers had the ability to view and edit these custom classes in the page editor when in developer mode, it would be an absolute game-changer. ...read more

Larger organizations need better ways to report on the performance of forms or filtering criteria in workflows.    Currently, if I want to gauge out how well a form is performing but I only want to look at how many submissions are for a sales form I have to -ensure the name identifies the type -manually add these forms to a list (87+ forms)  **Make sure you don't miss one, or add the same one twice** -ensure the date range is submitted between Jan 1 2022 - Dec 31 2022 for EVERY instance   This still only results in a number I can't trend this data by submissions per month or see the performance year over year - this is critical for understanding customer behavior and trends.   We would love to see the ability to easily identify a form type, Sales form vs. Lead generation form (they carry very different weight in the sales cycle) and also be able to easily report on these without having to manually add each and every form, maybe something like "Form Name Contains" XYZ for example.     ...read more

Posting for a user   Currently a workflow needs to be created to copy property values between different kinds of records like deals, companies, contacts etc. . This can be very manual especially when the properties don't update on specific records at the same time (e.g. at creation) and also makes it hard to keep workflow dashboard up to date.   Suggested feature: Allow properties to be created/set in a way that they automatically pull the value from the properties on an associated record, e.g. a company property automatically pulls a value from an associated deal. There is the obstacle, of course, that there can be multiple associations like contact <-> companies, deal <-> companies etc. Therefore ideally this should allow a choice to be set to the newest value (similar to the most recent value being synched in the Salesforce-HubSpot integration), the largest value, the oldest value etc.     Example use cases:  - show the largest deal amount associated with a company on the company record - show the status of the most recent associated deal on the contact record  - copy custom property values that are relevant to each record between different objects  ...read more

Recently Google Ads unrolled a new feature called, lead form ads. You can now let leads fill in your form directly in Google > by clicking on your ad. This is a beta update, but we allready have it 🙂 (whoopwhoop).   I would like to make sure leads filling out the form are being logged in HubSpot CRM. So sales can contact them. Therefor you can fill in a 'webhook url' and a 'key' in the Google Ads form ad. Unfortunatly you can only create a webhook URL for apps within HubSpot or use an API. And that's not usefull for Google Ads, so you cannot track leads in HubSpot and you have to manually download them from Google and then manually upload them. But you will lose all the information about the Ad the lead clicked on, pageview etcetera.    So, hopefully it will be on the agenda soon, so we can have lead form ads in Google AND all the information and tracking in HubSpot.    Read about the new feature here > https://support.google.com/google-ads/answer/9363648?hl=en ...read more

The new tool of "Insert proposed times" for scheduling meetings is great!   However, there is some issues in the calendar management, especially for the sales team where the users tend to schedule a lot of meetings each day and the calendar fills up quickly.    Typically the issue is: 1. You send a few proposed times to customer 1 2. Before Customer 1 has booked, you also send some proposed times to customer 2, 3 and 4.  3. As customer 1, 2 and 3 book their meetings, customer 4 experiences that none of the suggested times are available.    A second issue is your colleagues inviting you to internal meetings when your calendar looks available, when in reality you have sent out a lot of proposed meeting times.   To sum up, this is an issue for users whose calendars fills up quickly, where the recipient of the proposed meeting times will often find that none of the suggested times work.    Suggested simple solution: Give us the option to "create a placeholder meeting for proposed times". This will "book" the calendar slots you've proposed until a meeting is booked. When a meeting is booked, the other placeholder-slots will be deleted.    This solution should fix most problems related to this. Note that it needs to be optional, as I understand why the way it works today is great for some users (particularily the ones who don't book a lot of meetings at once). ...read more

I have a premium piece of content that requires a landing page for a big form fill to download. That all works great. I have a pop-up form that has a simple button on it (screenshot https://prnt.sc/s83ck3) that leads to the landing page.   The landing page is converting great at about 60% conversion rate (https://prnt.sc/s83dgt).  What isn't great is that there is no way to track how many clickthroughs I get on the popup. Apparently you have to actually have a form, not just a button, to track the clickthroughs. So there's no way to optimize this.   It would be ideal to allow for click through tracking of a pop-up that doesn't include a form. ...read more
