When we merge two contacts, because it is the same person, the email of the merged contact gets lost, so only one out of two persists. However, in a contact you can add secondary and more email adresses of a contact. We wonder, why it is not possible to save an email as secondary email adress when merging instead of deleting it from the contact. Hello everyone!   At the moment we use Bullhorn as our ATS (basically our database incl. financial) and Hubspot Marketing Professional for all marketing purposes and internal workflows.    The big thing we miss in the synchronisation between the two applications is the ''placements''. which holds all information regarding candidate, company and sales contacts, and especially the ability to use workflows etc.    Anyone has a work around? We have been wanting to filter our Task Queues by specific Contact Properties and not having that as an available option has been a little tricky. It would be helpful to be able to sort by the people that have been the most recently active with our content, filter by a property we have associated with a contact, etc.    This would help us put our efforts to the contacts most likely to become a sale. ...read more

Hi,    In the  workflows and the deal associations I would like to see a default option to only apply updates to NEW DEALS created.  At the moment we only have:     I would like the option to copy to new deals only    There are many properties on a company and contact that need to be copied to a deal, however, it has to apply to NEW Deals only.  The two options presented are limited    All deals - This changes the field properties of closed won deals associated with the company and affects the integrity of data on those deals, which should not change Association labels - currently a manual step - sales and customer success teams, should not have to do an extra step to then enable a workflow to trigger - open to errors.   ...read more

There are many companies that use their hubspot account to send internal newsletters to their employees, but the goal is to build company culture and inform people of news, not for commercial purposes. For this reason, I would like to suggest "Internal Company Contacts" as a new type of contact instead of paying for your own employees as Marketing Contacts. This could be related to the email domain of the portal itself, for example. It would be great to have these differentiated types of contacts and not have to pay for them. I know there is an option to send internal emails from workflows but you have to add all email addresses manually, you can't use lists, and this is neither simple nor feasible for large companies.
