Hey All, Preface: I love HubSpot and enjoy being a customer, I also support 4 other tenants as support. I'm sure this isn't going to get backed by HubSpot but I do at least need to share my frustrations. I know you gotta make money, but gatekeeping some of the most basic capabilities is a bit silly. The one I'm interested in currently is the Conversations -> Templates piece. I have an organization where we are paying well over $1,000/month for HubSpot. I just had a chat with a support team member and asked if there was a different way to handle email templates for Account Executives without requiring a paid Sales or Service seat. His response was, "No, you would need to add paid seats or store your email text in a Google Sheet so your team could copy/paste it over into HubSpot." Most CRMs out of the box allow an organization to save commonly sent emails with a 1:1 relationship. This is pretty much standard for even Freemium versions of a CRM. I understand HubSpot has to make money but this just seems predatory...
