Currently the Funnel Report doesn't remove any Contacts or Deals that moved backwards.   For example:   Bob Smith was created and assigned a Lead Bob Smith is a Sales Qualified Lead Bob Smith is a Lead In the above scenario, Bob Smith will forever be logged on the Funnel Report as a +1 Sales Qualified Lead, which causes overreporting and the conversion rate to be inaccurate. Changing his Lifecycle Stage does not remove him from the Funnel Report.   I'd love to have this fixed to reflect actual record data rather than historical in this instance, or at least give us the option to filter it out. Lifecycle Stage is often mistakenly updated as a result of inconsistent sales processes, automation that runs on records it shouldn't, and such, but when we find the mistake there's no way to fix the Funnel Report. ...read more

In regards to attachments related to a company, there does not appear to be a standard "view" option to see how many attachments a company has associated from the main companies page. In fact, attachments is not even available as an idea category below. I am new to Hubspot, and we are importing our pdf files customers have signed to their account and our partner is importing them to the attachments section.  It would also be helpful to be able to resize the "show all attachments view" as we have some long file names that cannot be seen without hovering. Overall, I am concerned there is not an "important agreements" place to place contracts within Hubspot that will not also accumulate other types of files like attachments to emails.   ...read more

I'd like to see general improvements to the gmail extension, that include the option to add notes on a contact from within gmail, with the added functionality of tagging my team members on those notes right from my inbox.    Who (what type of role or team) is the feature for? Sales reps using CRM that tag team members on contact requests What is their goal? To streamline contact management right from their inbox What value will this add? Reduction in click fatigue, and will allow them to move between emails and between tasks more efficiently.  Are there examples of other places or products who have this feature? I want to make sure I'm not inventing a wheel that has already been made. Additionally I did a little looking into if this was an "idea" already posted here, or if the tool that I am suggesting in fact already exists. Since I haven't found anything, here is the idea:   Imagine for a moment that you are in the process of emailing a customer, either from their contact/company/deal. You realize that this particular structure to your email isn't already a template, and that it would be so easy to use this again in the future.   The problem, is that there is no: "SAVE THIS AS A TEMPLATE" option. (at least I couldn't find it)   In summary, could we have a "create a template" button right from an email that we have just written to a customer, instead of having to go the route of copy and pasting the entire email structure and manually adding the email as a template separately? I know that at the end of the day, that route isn't terribly inconvenient, however it would eliminate and extra step or two, and then would save lots of time in the long run.    Thanks!   ...read more

There have been many forum posts about how limited the parent-children association feature is in HubSpot. To name a few: Activities rolled up from child to parent Listing of children companies info on a parent Consolidated reporting of a parent A couple of these threads were marked as solved via workarounds, but for the problem I'm about to describe, I can't find a workaround - let alone a native solution from HubSpot.   The Account Mapping feature of the OrgChart by @Dan1 is probably the closest one I have, but still wouldn't answer my problem (btw I'm a customer of OrgChartHub).   We'd like to report on lapsed accounts - which are accounts with whom we haven't had a business for more than a year. Here's the architecture of how our system is built: No records should be associated with a parent directly. They all should be associated with the children We only have 1 layer of parent-children relationship. We have no Parent (global) - Sub parent (regional) - Children (BU) relationship since HubSpot won't be able to report on total revenue on the global level based on the Children (BU) this way. The issue now is if I were to build a report, showing "Parent" account with the company property "Recent deal close date" older than 1 year, on paper the report will be able to identify this by looking at every child companies "recent deal close date" and see if ANY of them has recent deal close date older than 1 year.    It will not check if ALL of them combined has the recent deal close date older than 1 year.    I would like to somehow transfer the recent deal close date from the children to the parent to circumvent this, but we can't build a "logic" in the report or workflow level, that essentially tells HubSpot "only copy recent deal close date from the children to parent, if the existing recent deal close date in the parent is older than the one you're about to copy."   TLDR: Would be great if we can identify lapsed account based on parent companies having the recent deal close date on its various children older than X period of time. ...read more

It would be great if a filter could be added to the inbox, to filter by contact known/unknown. It would speed up the process of immediately identifying relevant emails and prioritize the ones coming from known contacts. ...read more

Hi everyone, I'm currently facing a challenge in managing communications with Co-Selling Partners in HubSpot. Our process involves associating these partners with multiple deals and companies. However, the system automatically syncs all conversations across these associations, which clutters the deals/companies with irrelevant information from other interactions. Problem Description: When I add a Co-Selling Partner as a contact to any deal or company, the system automatically syncs every conversation related to that contact across all associated deals/companies. This results in a lot of unnecessary and confusing information being shared where it's not relevant. I tried creating a new property at the contact level hoping to use it to deactivate the syncs via a workflow for contacts with this property enabled. Unfortunately, it seems that deactivating syncs this way isn’t possible. Proposed Solution: I believe a helpful feature would be the ability to manually deactivate the default syncing function for selected contacts. Specifically, it should allow: Adding a contact to multiple deals/companies without syncing their communication to those deals/companies. Maintaining visibility of all associations at the contact level to facilitate reporting, without the automatic sharing of communication. This feature would greatly enhance our ability to manage communications with Co-Selling Partners effectively, keeping all associated records clean and relevant. Has anyone else encountered this issue or found a workaround? Alternatively, if anyone from the CRM development team is around, could this feature be considered for future updates? It would be great if we could filter the recycling bin like we could the object index page. There are cases where we need to restore records based off of certain properties. Currently, we can only restore contacts individually or in bulk with no additional filtering.  ...read more
