Currently, it's possible for any user to start a trial, regardless of their permissions. For example, if a user does not have Service Hub permissions, they can start a Service Hub trial.
While this seems harmless, the introduction of software in some companies is highly political, especially in Enterprise and Corporate environments.
The fact that a banner is shown that says "You have x days left in your trial" to all users of the portal can put the roll-out of software at risk. IT departments in Enterprise and Corporate companies allows the roll-out of software for certain use cases only. Introducing additional uses cases is putting the relationship with IT and the overall commitment to HubSpot at risk.
In many other parts of the tools, users simply see an error message if they don't have the permissions. Please limit the starting of trials to either super admins or users which have permissions for the corresponding hub.
