The native HubSpot/Netsuite integration has come a long way and is very useful for basic needs, but there is still one glaring flaw: lifecycle syncing. It is not currently possible to keep HubSpot and Netsuite Lifecycle stages in sync. There is no way to know in HubSpot if a Netsuite synced company (let's say originally created in Netsuite for this example) is a Lead, Prospect, or Customer in Netsuite. As I understand from support, this is becuase the Netsuite Lifecycle stage/status property (properties) are dropdown fields. The integration can surface the internal ID of a value, but not the value itself. Because of this, the integration does not allow the integraiton to use the Netsutie status/stage poperties at all. Ideally, this would be resolved by some upgrades to the integration that could pull the dropdown values. In the meantime, allowing those internal IDs to be pushed between systems would solve the problem. The ID could trigger a workflow in to keep the life cycle in sync.
