I'm not sure of the 'technical' word to describe it (maybe an array??) but I have a use case where I need to ⚡️ dynamically ⚡️ create more than one custom record with a Workflow, based on a number field set on a Line Item.   For example, if a user sets a number field on a Line Item in a Deal to "15", then I would like 15 x (custom) records to be created, all relating to that specific Line Item.    If the user chose 50, I'd want to create 50!    I have a workaround that will work for 10-15 records, but it's going to become unmanagable once we reach 15+ records.    I am sure there's a technical "developer code" 'way to do this, but my client is keen to do this with point-and-click functionality to allow for maintenance. I suspect you may be able to do so with Operations Hub, but they have already invested in Sales Enterprise so would anticipate this type of functionality being included in an Enterprise-ready CRM.  This type of feature is available with Salesforce Flow, I believe, where you can dynamically create # records based on the input from another related record.    Please feel free to add the correct terms if you know what I'm looking for and I perhaps haven't articulated perfectly 😄    Look forward to your support if you see the value in this Idea too 💡 ...read more

Hubspot playbooks are becoming a central piece of how we use the Hubspot CRM.    You cannot attatch documents to them though....and the file property type when embeded as a question is for some reason not allowing for file uploads. . .    This is a major issue when we want reps to upload agreements and plans through playbooks! Who: marketers building multi-step journeys Goal: be able to pass information through URL parameters for forms to catch it, when no other connexion exist between records that need to remain related/be updated. Value: Less dependability on integrations, better ability to keep information related to specific records Examples: regular HTML forms ============================================ I would need to be able to pass information from a page to a form using URL parameters, and then catch that information in a hidden form field. For example, to be able to link a specific form submission to a specific record, I need an exact record ID. If I could pass that ID in the URL from the previous page and have it in the form, I could then use a workflow to do all the necessary data manipulation.   An exact example would be something like: Click on a button (with dynamic URL containing deal ID) Sends to mywebsite.com/formABC?dealID=12345678 "dealID" is automatically inserted into hidden form field "dealID" "dealID" is then saved to the new contact that filled the form, and we're now able to associate the form's information to the proper deal. There are multiple challenges here, but the biggest ones are the following: The person filling the form is likely not the same as the person already associated to the record (i.e.: a deal / a quote). Therefore I cannot rely on the email address (and not even the email address' domain name) The company of the person filling the form might not even be the same as the person associated to the record. Therefore I cannot rely on that neither. There could be multiple deals/quotes associated to one or both of my involved contacts, and I need to associate the form's information to one specific deal/quote record. As it stands its not particularly clear in Hubspot whether a contact is still in their role or not. In alot of cases you would like to retain the activity that you had with that previous contact so the only alternatively is to add in the property (Has left the role). However this is not a clear point when you land on the page.    My suggestion would be for their to be a clear marker at the top of each record that states whether this contact is in the role or not. ...read more

In the account and billing section, you can view a report of contacts usage over time. I would like to be able to create our own report using that data. We are currently going through a CRM cleanup exercise so it would be a helpful report to show the success of the cleanup and how many total contacts were cut with a breakdown by marketing contact status.   Basically recreate the report from the account and billing section but with the ability to change the timescale and add to a dashboard. ...read more

Hello. I'd like to request adding a main template to the knowledge base that displays subcategories in addition to the top/suggested article. This way managers can improve the structure and categorization of their knowledge base and facilitate better UX as users can find what they need easier.    Attached is a sample of my knowledge base which is already broken down into subcategories. Appearance-wise it looks cleaner and more structured, and users can easily find the information they need based on the submodules. This is for users of the Inbox Conversations feature. Currently, Hubspot will show all of the team members who are viewing the Conversation to the customer in the chat. It would be really great to have the ability to control what our customers, who use the chat, can/cannot see when chatting in with our Support team.  We do not want customers to have the ability to leverage types of support with the team members available.  ...read more

I came across an issue that today we can edit any deal information in your registration customizations, except the one that comes as defaul (upper left corner, as shown in the attached image). However, I feel a great need that once I set my business model to MRR, I would like that instead of leaving the amount property, I would like to edit it to leave the mrr property.
