Because my accounts are connected and Hubspot is able to track my analytics, I would like a tool that suggests a time to post based off the platform and day of week. Schedulers like HeyOrca, Sprinklr, Hootsuite and more suggest a time based off your platform's peak engagement time. I would rather post at 1:22 on a Tuesday on Instagram because that is what's best based off my analytics than post every day at 11:00am.  ...read more

Salesforce has a tool called Engagement Studio which includes a rather neat, highly visual testing feature. When you test your records, it shows you which branch a record will flow down and has great alerts to help you see what's happening:   (screenshot from YouTube)   For non-tech users, indeed any user!, it would be extremely helpful to have a testing tool like this in HubSpot's Workflow Automation and Sequences.   Happy to be involved in beta testing or providing more comprehensive feedback if this is something HubSpot would like to address.   Thanks in advance 🙏🏻   ...read more

For designing workflows It would be useful to have the possibility to add dummy (non-executable) steps with display text field only. In many cases, especially if designing rather complex worklfows it is a blocker if I don't have all the necessary emails, CTAs, forms etc. ready and eg. I realize that I'd need an email iteration for another if/then branch on the fly. If in such case I don't add a real, executable step I can't continue building my workflow, while if I add something to fill in the gap and leave it in by mistake, then there is a risk that eg. a wrong email will be sent or something unwanted happens. Dummy steps could help me oversee what building bricks I still need to prepare, without interrupting me in worklflow design work, or contaimining my workflow with redundant content pieces. Currently one can set a 'Welcome page' by domain – but it is limited to only one default 'Welcome page' per domain. We would like to have different Welcome pages for different areas, for example connected to a List membership.    The background of this is that we have created a "Customer portal" with various documentation for prospects and newly registered customers. They each get added to a list and get access to X content via login. Now, we'd want to expand to also other types of "self-service" portals, eg. restricted access areas for other types of content, with completely other membership lists – and want to have the possibility to set different Welcome pages depending on the need/case.  The workaround today, is to have multiple domains and use them for the various welcome pages/memberships – which does not work for us. ...read more

HubSpot should return CAA records for domains so that SSL certificates can be issued without the customer needing to alter root CAA records.   More info:   We added domains for landing pages and emails, and after adding the required CNAME and completing verification, got an error saying that an SSL certificate couldn't be generated as HubSpot's certificate provider, Digicert (the CA) didn't have permission.   The instructions say to add Digicert to our root domain's CAA record, but this is bad advice as we have specifically set our CAA records to our own CA, and adding HubSpot's CA would allow that to be used for any sub-domains that we have anywhere else.   As HubSpot have provided a CNAME record, they can control the CAA record in the same way as the A record that's already provided. CAA records are hierarchical for exactly this reason. This would mean that their chosen CA would always be accepted, and no customer would need to alter any CAA records.   Our interim fix is to create domains in Hubspot which use a second sub-domain level, e.g. email.hub.example.com, so that we can add CAA records on hub.example.com rather than alter our root CAA. Then if/when HubSpot start providing the CAA record for the CNAME, the higher level will not be needed, but there is no break or impact. ...read more

The Hubspot Insight "Revenue" should provide the revenue of ALL the companies, not just the companies with revenue under $1B.  It is misleading when you view this Hubspot Insight, as it is providing incorrect information for companies who have revenue over $1B.   All Hubspot users will find this information helpful.  I would strongly recommend that all company revenue, provided by Hubspot Insights, be updated correctly, regardless of the revenue amount. ...read more

At the moment lists in a folder are sorted by ' last updated' and I would like to sort it by name instead. I've numbered my lists and want them to follow up. There is an option to do that now (sort by name), but once you update a list it automatically start to sort by ' last updated' again. Currently there is, Create date, last modified date, etc. These does not do the trick.   "Last modified date" encompasses all modifications to the deal.
