Long story short, we have 2000 duplicates (huge and old database) and as I started merging contacts it was re-enrolling them in workflows and triggering alerts for the sales team - not a good result!   This lead me down the spiral of needing to go into workflows to turn off the merged contact re-enrollment, but we have so many workflows to udpate these all manually. This is a separate issue and I have commented and upvoted those ones to make it a global field.   Anyway, tt would be great to be able to create lists and workflows using 'merged contact' as a trigger point. I'd like to see some functionality added for bulk loading (importing and udating existing data).  I'd like it so that if I want to update an existing field to BLANK, I can use an empty field value in my import sheet.    USE CASE: I get files of account updates from an external source, and I use it to update our existing accounts in Hubspot. If a field value is removed from the spreadsheet, it would be hard for me to know what fields were blanked out and then update the Hubspot accounts. (For example, sometimes the Parent Account name is removed to reflect a change in hierarchy, so I need to remove that data for select accounts.)   Right now I'm going through extra steps in my data prep to add a value of "n/a" to where there should be no data, to make sure that the changes are being reflected correctly.  ...read more

At the moment it looks like SCIM provisioning is only supported with Okta. https://knowledge.hubspot.com/account/provision-hubspot-users-with-scim-through-okta   It would be good to have either an integration for SCIM user provisioning with OneLogin or a generic SCIM bridge that we can use for setting up SCIM provisioning and security permission/group provisioning from OneLogin. ...read more

Can we raise up vote for create custom channel source for conversation inbox API? since there is still on BETA and looks like we just have as is channel to use on conversation due to the API didn't have 'CREATE' request, one of my client facing struggle when they need to connect their social chat apps like telegram in hubspot (since for now i bring solution to using Timeline API to capture the conversational by ticket based), hopefully we can adding any other custom source channel for chat conversation!   Backlink issue ...read more

It is currently impossible to create a list from the sequences with the contacts with rejected emails. You have to export this list from the "reporting" (which is in beta version today), and reimport is as a list in Hubspot.  Could you please add an option to create a list from the sequences or at least have the possibility to send them into a list.  In this way I could delete them all or correct them if emails are wrong.  Thank you ! ...read more

I've recently finished a large data migration.    In the system where the data came from, contacts had two email fields, one primary, one secondary.   To migrate this into HubSpot, I've created the corresponding fields, but would now like to tidy up by adding the secondary email as a normal email field.   If I use the "Copy Property Value" workflow action, it replaces the primary email. This post is for the HubSpot developers.   First, it's great having integration between these two platforms, it's allowed us to discontinue our salesforce subscription to standardize on HubSpot Sales Professional.    However, the downside is we've lost some major functionality that I'm hoping will be addressed soon.  Important note: while we had SFDC and HubSpot all data was synchronizing between the two platforms without requiring Operations Hub.    Here's my assessment and where there are opportunities to create a tighter integration.   prospects / contacts - sync (partial check) above default, HubSpot wants you to purchase Operations Hub, however, when using SFDC, integration did not require any additional plans to sync. accounts - sync (partial check) the same thing, Hubspot requires Operations Hub to sync above standard (very basic) fields.  Since we have Sales Professional, this should be included. deals/opportunities - (missing) this is a major issue for us, we update our deals within Outreach. sequence data - (missing) having two-way sync will help ensure data accuracy.  If HubSpot wants to be the database of record and allow users to keep marketing, sales, etc in one place, tighter integration here is essential. complete integration - (missing) tasks, meetings, calls, etc.  100% Outreach synchronize with HubSpot, whether it's inbound, or outbound I want the records to reflect all of the interactions we have. ...read more
