Dear HubSpot Team, I'm writing to bring up a topic that's of significant concern to many of us within the development community, particularly those of us working in agencies: the need for enhanced breakpoint customization within HubSpot's CMS. A previous forum discussion on a similar topic can be found here. A quick comparison between Webflow and HubSpot reveals a stark difference in breakpoint options. Webflow offers the flexibility to define up to 6 breakpoints, empowering designers to ensure a seamless user experience across diverse devices. Here's a screenshot of Webflow's interface showcasing the 6 breakpoints. In contrast, HubSpot's page editor currently supports only one breakpoint. Here's a screenshot highlighting HubSpot's current breakpoint capability. As per the HubSpot developers' documentation, the "theme.json" file contains a configuration for "responsive_breakpoints", but only one entry, the "mobile breakpoint," is permissible. More information can be found here. Given the current digital landscape with a multitude of device usage patterns, the lack of responsive flexibility in HubSpot's CMS is a considerable impediment for development agencies like ours. This limitation hinders us from fully embracing the usage of HubSpot's drag and drop templates, as it restricts our ability to create truly responsive designs that cater to the myriad devices our audiences use. We firmly believe that expanding the number of allowed breakpoints would not only offer better flexibility for developers and designers but also significantly enhance the user experience for visitors accessing our sites from various devices. We respectfully request your team to consider this enhancement. Doing so could potentially foster greater adoption and utilization of HubSpot's CMS, especially among development agencies seeking to deliver superior experiences to their clients. Thank you for your attention to this matter. We are keenly interested in any developments regarding this request and look forward to your response. Best regards, Arno
