Sometimes, when I merge a contact or a company I find that some of the properties for company A are correct, and some of other properties for company B are correct as well. I got very excited when i saw this in BETA but now feel like the day is ruined. HS support inform me that this can only be used when creating new records.   I want to use it on all records, mostly existing ones.   I set up all the logic and properties when someone clicked a specific Key Sector, for example, construction. Then a secondary field opens with the list of secondary construction sectors for them to update.    Please tell me support have got it wrong and I'm just missing something - otherwise I cant see the point of this? ...read more

Who Does It Benefit HubSpot, Marketers, Users, and Developers   Value To Be Gained Users would be able to easily submit bug reports as well as view bug reports others have submitted to identify if what they're experiencing is likely actually a bug or not.   Description I feel like there should definitely be a Bug Reports Community category or a #bug-reports Slack channel (or preferably both, like with Ideas). Currently, I've experienced numerous bugs, over the last several months, and I don't really have any outlet to post them to. Currently, I try to find the most relevant channel in Slack and post them there, but it doesn't feel good at all.   I mentioned this to Jon McLaren, and he told me messaging support would be the best solution for bug reports, but it seems really inconvenient to do, and other users can't benefit from it, to help identify their issues as bugs, and view possible solutions whether it's a bug or not (if there's been an issue posted by someone else). Being able to post your bug reports to a dedicated community section would just be better for everyone, I feel: HubSpot would gain more awareness and a measure of the urgency of the bug based on community response Marketers and users would have an outlet to more easily report any issues they're experiencing as well as see if the issue has been experienced by others and possible solutions or bandaid fixes for the issue (and maybe a response in the thread from an official HubSpot staff member that the issue has now been resolved) Developers would be more aware of things that are actually bugs rather than waste hours identifying it as such (which I have done on more than 1 occasion recently, although I probably still would have needed to as they were so niche it is likely no one else would have already reported them) and they could potentially pass that info on to a client. We have multiple teams tracking tickets in ServiceHub, all for very different reasons. It would be great to have ticket creation views that mimic the custom ticket views.   When creating tickets 'internally' (from the "Create Ticket" button on the Tickets window) all teams see every field  including custom, team specific, required fields and therefore the view is useless without removing the required field option, which defeats the purpose of a required field. Additonally users have to scroll through a plethora of fields that are totally unrelated to their team creating time wasting screen pollution.    In the ticket grid or list view, the "Create Ticket" button should look at the team view and open a ticket that is a duplicate of the team view for that specific team.    The settings are misleading as it notes: Set the properties your team sees when creating tickets. But the explanation notes: Choose the properties that will be displayed when any user in your CRM creates a ticket, and which of those properties are required in order to create a ticket. However, this is for all users in Hubspot, and there is actually no ability to customize the properties team members see when creating tickets based on the team view.  ...read more

Today is only possible to "delete"/"edit" a recurring task through going on each of the individually.  I think it would be an invaluable tool to bulk delete/edit these tasks, like "Remove all recurring from selected tasks", or something like a filter I can put to actually SEE all my tasks with "X" or "Y" Status/Name/Association.  The point that bothers me, also, is that this feature to "repeat task" is avaiable to everyone with acess to "tasks". Shouldn't there be a way to "disable" some features on my portals (like this "repeat task", or even, the creation of delas/Contacts, breaking/linking a contact to a deal)? As my operation has quite a hard time using HS, I would love to see some of these features implemented.  ...read more

I noticed that there is currently no possibilty of only showing the agent first name as sender line for outgoing support e-mails in the conversation inbox.   For brands such as ours with a more personalised approach this seems like a very useful feature that is currently missing.    We communicate with our customers on a first name basis and we do not wish to share employee last names with customers. But we also don't want go the impersonal route of only using the company name as the sender.     ...read more

The Marketig Event Object seems limited in that while it tracks with contact records, it's not accessible from the right hand sidebar of contact records. It would be amazing to easily be able to see which events a contact attended or registered for by viewing associations to the event on the right hand sidebar, and maybe even having some default association labels for registered vs attended vs no show. ...read more
