The Ads Manager report does not serve the needs of marketing departments/ business owners CURRENTLY : The Ads Manager does not report ALL customers that came from Adwords campaigns. It ONLY reports CURRENT customers. WHICH MEANS: If you had 100 sales/customers/clients this year from your ad campaigns, but 40 are no longer customer/clients, the Ads Manager reports 60 (current) rather then the 10 (total.) HS SUPPORT RESONSE: "The Ads manage report will only show deals in the closed won stage only. There is not a way to alter this report to shows deals in any stage." NEGATIVE IMPACT: We spent $50k on ads, I know from other reports I built that 100 customers came from Google ads, but the current Ads Manager is reporting 60 because 40 are no longer clients. USE CASE: Marketing managers need to know the performance of each campaign ie. deals, opps, customers/clients- so they can determin which campaigns make money which losing money and which needs improvement. (Customer acquisition is the job. NOT customer retention) NOTE: Not everyone uses the $ in deals. This $ value in Ads Manager as default to calculate ROI is of no use to most. RECOMMENDATION: Allow users to update/filter the Ads Manager report so that we can see ALL / ANY Deals, Opportunities and Wins that came through Google ads regardless of current Won/Win statues (eg. Lost client).
