When sending an email from a ticket, you can select all contacts within the CRM. There have been a couple of times that emails have gone to the wrong contacts. Luckily this has not been too serious however I understand how this could have GDPR implications dependent on the contents of the email.    One solution would be for a ticket to limit the contacts you can send an email to. I need to be able to create an automated workflow or task.  So that on the 1st of Jan every year. Every deal that is in a particular pipeline will have a financial statement printed. I know this can be dont for contacts but i need to be able to be done per deal. As clients could potentially have multiple deals, but only the deals inside a certain piple line need financial statement and the financial statement relates to the particular deal.  I also cant see anyway to make it reoccur every year. Unless I speciically make a workflow for jan 1 2020, jan 1 2021, jan 1 2022, jan 1 2023, jan 1 2024, jan 1 2025, jan 1 2025 etc The issue with this is when do i stop? and what happens if i leave the company and the workflow doesnt get updated and the whole part of the system is forgotten about. Good afternoon. For those of us who are stuck with using the standard, iframe embed method of adding forms to a website (as opposed to the raw HTML version), there is currently no way to change certain design features, such as input background colors. Most notably, link colors cannot be changed. If you add a link in Help text or in a form Label, this link currently inherits the default link color for a given web browser (typically blue). Without using a custom form and the HubSpot API, there is currently no way around this. This makes the typical embed method practically ununsable with some sites. Right now, there isnt a provison to include Snippets in the Deal properties. Just functional over email and notes. Adding it on the properties front can ease the life and many useful properties can be created through snippets ...read more

It would be incredibly helpful if we were able to import a group on contacts that we just had an event or meeting with and have it log the meeting.    We often host events and educational classes for our clients and it would be so much easier if we could import a .csv or .xslx with all of the attendees and have it log the meeting with them. (Instead of creating the event on one contact and adding in all of the attendees by hand). We typically have over 50 clients attend these events, so it would save us a lot of time and help with th accuracy of our Activity timelines.    This would also allow for us to send out follow-up communication from the event or class to the clients who attended.  ...read more

Something that HelpScout offers that makes a lot of sense it having a contact form on the knowledge base (which we already have) and then having the "chat" function search as a knowledge base search only.   So the case here is the following:   1) We don't have knowledgable agents ready to be able to chat on a regular basis, but we love being able to offer a knowledge base search directly on whatever page they're on. We need to be able to deploy "chat flow" functions on certain pages with only a knowledge base search, not a live chat function. This would be a setting item within the chatflow setup that would say "Enable live chat" with a toggle. 2) The other issue here is that we have dozens, DOZENS of users within 7 of our conversation boxes. We need to be able to set either "inherit users" for the attached convo box OR we need to be able to set CERTAIN users for each chat flow. That would ensure that only if that user is ON and AVAILABLE would the chat function be activated, else it would simply be a knowledge base search function when that user is not available.   As it stands now, we have to tell EVERY rep ( and new hires ) to remember to turn off their availability to "away" unless we want a lot of chats coming in on a regular basis to a box that is not ready to handle chats because a particular in ...read more

Within deals we have to be able to put percents into property fields that read as percents to avoid confusion. For example, when working with partners, they get paid different percentages and this is used to calculate their commission and then final net deal value. There isn't a way to designate % as a number, only as text. Then this can't be used later for calculation. Or it has to be read as a whole number such as 10 instead of 10%.
