I think it would be a great option if you were able to turn off associations from deal to deal or pipeline to pipeline. Our company keeps on running into over associating deal activity with other deals that the activity has nothing to do with. This is mostly from employees not remembering to remove associations on that specific activity they are adding. I do think this an unnecassary sales step for them to have to worry about though.  ...read more

We need to be able to associate Tickets with Invoices. Currently, once an invoice is synced from XERO to a Contact, using the HubSpot | Xero app, we can assoicate our Invoices in the Invoice Object with Companies, Deals and Contacts. But we cannot associate Invoices with Tickets.   In addition to this, when we signed up with HubSpot the Sales team said it would be easy to manage our servicing using HubSpot Tickets for our Customer Service Team. Without Invoices and Line Items this is not even vaguely doable. Currently the Funnel Report doesn't remove any Contacts or Deals that moved backwards.   For example:   Bob Smith was created and assigned a Lead Bob Smith is a Sales Qualified Lead Bob Smith is a Lead In the above scenario, Bob Smith will forever be logged on the Funnel Report as a +1 Sales Qualified Lead, which causes overreporting and the conversion rate to be inaccurate. Changing his Lifecycle Stage does not remove him from the Funnel Report.   I'd love to have this fixed to reflect actual record data rather than historical in this instance, or at least give us the option to filter it out. Lifecycle Stage is often mistakenly updated as a result of inconsistent sales processes, automation that runs on records it shouldn't, and such, but when we find the mistake there's no way to fix the Funnel Report. ...read more

There is no way to set up an automated message based on a ticket being created that pushes to the help desk system. Ideally, when a new ticket comes in for example on a Saturday or Sunday, the customer will receive an automated email from us. One of the main frustrations we've been facing with using Marketing events object in HubSpot is that we can't export data from this object. It's great that we can easily sort and filter the info, but it’s disappointing how tough it is to pull that data out of HubSpot for other uses.   It would also be really helpful if we could link contacts or companies to these events.    At the moment, the only option seems to be upgrading to Enterprise to build a custom object that handles all this. While that might work out well for HubSpot, it’s not the most practical solution for smaller businesses like ours. ...read more
