I have the highest regard for HubSpot, and am a passionate evangelist.  So, I submit this thought provoking question respectfully: 1) Why does HubSpot use SurveyMonkey for academy courses and not the survey function within HubSpot?  Every time someone completes a survey, it advertises for SurveyMonkey usage. It would seem logical that HubSpot should use their own survey tool for the Academy courses.  If Survey Monkey has functions and features that HubSpot does not, then perhaps the HS functionality of the tool needs some work? 1. Who:  Everyone who takes a HubSpot Academy course is sent to Survey Monkey...not HubSpots Survey tool. 2. Goal:  HubSpot might want to use its own tools? 3. Value: It makes sense to promote HubSpots own tools.  It pushes the students to use it, so they might want to use it for their work surveys. 4. n/a 5. It would be great if we could customize the 'send from' address for marketing emails sent through workflows. For example, if we have an if/then branch for each contact owner, we could send the marketing email from the contact owner's email address instead of the email all coming from one address. ...read more

We're having issues where Company Records are being overwritten when a Form is submitted by someone with the same domain name. This of course is not what we want, and it seems to be a peculiar logic for the platform to use.    I believe, either it should be configured to use the company record ID as a unique identifier or the Form should error with a pre-defined message if an existing domain is identified. ...read more

It is not good to use the internal campaign name in Hubspot as the UTM campaign parameter attached to tracking URLs when using the Tracking URL Builder: The internal campaign name might contain confidential information which shall not be visible to the user. The internal campaign name might contain blank spaces and special characters which are URL encoded. The URL does not look nice. It makes it impossible to enforce a UTM naming guideline (only small letters, replace blank spaces with dashes, convert special characters, etc.) which requires unified parameters for accurate reporting in Google Analytics. Example: Internal Campaign Name: Ostergrüße 2023 Tracking URL: https://www.example.com?utm_campaign=Ostergr%C3%BC%C3%9Fe%202023 Solution: V1: Use the ID for the campaign as UTM campaign parameter. Only drawback is that you'll have ID's in the Google Analytics acquisition reports making it difficult to analyze. V2: Use by default the internal campaign name (ideally converted to small characters, replacing empty spaces with dashes and converting special characters) and allowing to overwrite it with your own choice. ...read more

It would be awesome if we could be able to add our email signatures to the meeting invitations by default. Otherwise we are forced to paste our email signature into the meeting invitation everytime and it can cause formatting issues.  ...read more

Hi there.   I use company lists on a daily basis and most of the time what I have to do is to filter specific companies based on properties, which work fine. However, when it comes to creating a list of the CONTACTS associated with said companies, it's incredibly painfull.    There is no straight way of going from a company to it's associated contacts, and I think that this should be an easy and intuitive option available on hubspot.   For example. You created a list with all the insurance companies in your region. There SHOULD be a button to "Get Contacts" or "Create a contacts list" of those exact companies.     What do you think? ...read more

For our line of business (SW Development), it is expected that deals would have revenue in the current year and remaining revenue in the following year (not recurring). It is important for us to track the revenue in both years.   As a solution, creating a pipeline for 2023 and copying the active deals to it while maintaining 2022 pipeline would been a good solution. However, currently, there is no feature that allows us to do that while maintaining essential properties like Creations Date, Close Date, Deal Activity, etc.)  It`ll be useful if such a feature exists.    This will also serve the case where renewal deals are needed.
