Automation is the game. When working in automation solutions through Hubspot the current logic of properties is very limiting. The reason for that is that Hubspot propagates the different levels of data into deal, company, and contact properties. While it makes sense to label what kind of data it is and where it belongs, it doesn't make sense to limit the data from being used in automation as interconnected properties. Right now you have to choose to create a workflow from either of the 3 property types: Contact Company Deal SO, the idea is: to allow users to create a workflow/automation that can utilize data across the different property types defined by Hubspot. By separating the data it is creating a huge barrier in streamlining our data to be used accurately in workflows. In the current way it is working all users have to duplicate the same properties on different property types, such as deal and company if they want to do complex automation. This creates a mess in our data and enables a large margin of error.
