I'd love a portal-wide filter that would be set by SuperAdmins (and which could be included in a permission set) to provide the ability to effectively hide entries from users. The idea would be to hide, for instance, any inactive contacts. I work in financial services and we have long histories with some customers, who, when they change positions and their emails bounce, remain in the system until we catch up to them in their new position; being able to filter out inactive users on the portal level would effectively hide these until they returned to active status. Adding this to a permission set would allow SuperAdmins to set this so that a marketing permission set would result in marketing users seeing a different set of contacts, for instance, than sales (for example, only the marketing contacts). While obviously this can be filtered on an individual basis, having this set at the permission set level would allow those users to concentrate on a set group, rather than the entirety of the database (we have over 64k contacts right now, that can be intimidating for someone who, for interest, is only interested in a very small group of contacts).
