We have at least 200 contacts who, for whatever reason, often or always open sales emails sent through HS, but never open marketing emails (formal campaigns) sent through HS. Inevitably, this results in them becoming "Unengaged" per HS metrics. However, in reality, they are quite engaged, opening, clicking, responding, to sales emails. There needs to be a way to tie those responsive activities to the Engagement calculation. To say they are Unengaged is just false. The net result of them being considered Unengaged is that we have to hand-send these contacts each campaign we want them to see, because we cannot send through the normal channel, since they are (wrongly) considered Unengaged! We are guessing that this phenomenon may be caused by our salespeople being allowlisted at these Companies, but HS is not?? By the way, we are targeting contacts at large, multi-national corporations who are likely to have the most sophisticated email firewalls and protections. Sometimes sending emails directly (sales emails) is the ONLY way to get something through. Again, such contacts should not have their engagement penalized when this is the case.
