We sell software on a subscription basis and like to show discounts so that customers can see every single concession we make on price. As a result, while the list price of our yearly subscription is 15% lower than the monthly one, on a per month basis, we typically list it on quotes as 12x the monthly price, and then manually apply a 15% discount. It would be convenient to add that discount as part of the product configuration. That way, when adding the yearly line item to a deal, instead of populating just the unit price, billing frequency and term, it would also pull in a discount for that product/currency combo.
