"If a call, one-to-one email, meeting, note, task, postal mail, LinkedIn, SMS, or WhatsApp message is first logged on a company record, it will be automatically associated with the company’s five most recent associated open deals (i.e., deals that are not in closed-won or closed-lost deal stages). One-to-one emails sent and outbound calls made from a company will also be associated with the contacts that were emailed or called." Feedback on the above - I would like to mention, Id like to give feedback though i think Hubspot need to look into this, as it creates a very messy CRM, and confusion anyone looking at it. There needs to potentially be an option in associations or its removed completely, and we make the association choices. I find it amusing in particular one client, any call, notes, emails or tasks created its associated with 9 associations which i think is crackers from our point of view. Anyway in the meantime we have put a plan in place to hopefully eliminate this issue going forward.
